This CG HDRI / Sky Collection 01 pack from SA Studios is an amazing set of HDRI skies that were rendered in a 3D program at the resolution of 16,000 x 8,000!
The HDRIs are not only extremely high quality, they also include an alpha channel for the cloud layers so you can cast fake ground shadows from the HDRI files. With traditional HDRI spherical maps, this was nearly impossible to do.
Another huge benefit of these CG HDRI files is that they have a huge dynamic range, upwards of 20 stops on some of the skies! They are also perfectly exposed for your 3D package and are all in 32bit .exr format. You will also benefit from not only extremely fast render times but extraordinary CG quality as well.
The sun angle data is also notated so you can match a custom sun object to the skies should you wish.
