awesome little tip! is there any chance of making a tutorial on a slightly more advanced script? or a fun script?
I may create a longer tutorial on scripting in the future, but I currently don’t have one planned.

Just a curious question – why doesn’t the “scale” part of the script work in with the model tool? Also, is there a good resource online to learn a little bit more about scripting?

The model tool doesn’t scale the object, it scales the object points. The object tool scales the object.
Try scaling using the model tool and notice how the scale parameter doesn’t change in the attribute manager.
