The Mega Deformer Pack for Cinema 4D is a set of plugins to help modify and animate your geometry.
Rebend alters the curve of your geometry, Seam joins edges together, and Motion Stretch pulls your points forwards and backwards in time along their animation – great for cartoon character animation, or creating motion trails. We’ve also included our Expand deformer as a bonus for registered users.
Motion Stretch Deformer can be applied after you’ve animated your models to add motion trails, cartoon style motion blur, or just a little extra weight to your animation. Motion Stretch is easy to use and can be applied to any animated polygon object.
Seam Deformer joins any two edges of your objects and makes it easy to animate those edges either closing or opening. Using Seam’s strength curve is a fun and easy way to create zipping, irising, and many other custom cloth-style opening animations in Cinema 4D.
Rebend Deformer alters the curve of your geometry – taking objects that have curves built into them, and modifying that curve. Once you’ve defined your curves with Rebend it’s easy to animate your object between the original and new curve states.
Expand is a bonus deformer available only to registered users of Mega Deformer Pack. Use it to scale your points in 1, 2, or 3 directions from an alternate axis point, or along their normals. Expand is handy for a variety of modelling and animation tweaks.
Difference Maps – the Difference Map tab stores the effect of the Curious Animal deformers on each point into a vertex map. That map can then control the influence of shaders, other deformers and many other effects in Cinema 4D.
All the deformers include falloff tabs to let you limit their effect, and we’ve included Attach Falloff to Null, a free tag plugin that lets you move the falloff independently of the Curious Animal deformers.
