3ds Max Tutorial – Modern Bathroom Visualisation in Photoshop & V-Ray from ShLeCe
In this 9+ hours of training, you will go through the process of modelling, shading, rendering and composting of a modern bathroom in 3ds Max and V-Ray.
You will model & shade each individual object from scratch using highpoly modelling techniques and you will also learn multi-layer compositing using V-Ray render element and Photoshop. This includes re-lighting the scene in post without the need to re-render the whole scene again.
This tutorial consists of designing a modern bathroom from the modelling process, right through to post production, each individual object is built and shaded from scratch.
First you will build the scene and continue to build each of the objects, mainly high poly and SubD modeling (NURMS) will be used. You will also use the cloth modifier to make towels look realistic and MassFX to fill your vase with pebbles. All the objects will then be UVed and shaded.
You will also be rendering some render elements to use in post. In the post process you will take advantage of V-Ray light elements to relight the scene and also take a look at ways on how to change the mood of the scene by changing the colour and intensity of each individual light, in post, therefore without the need to re-render the whole scene.
